Mirror types

Mirror cut to size

Economy Glass is Melbourne’s premier destination for mirrors cut to size. We specialise in crafting custom-made mirrors that fit impeccably within your space, whether it’s for your bathroom, wardrobe, dressing room, living area or home gym. Each mirror is tailored to your distinct requirements, ensuring an impeccable fit and finish.

Choosing a mirror cut to size gives you unmatched control over both design and utility. Our process begins with a detailed home assessment where we take precise measurements of the desired area. After meticulously crafting your mirror to the exact specifications, we ensure a seamless installation in your home. Beyond size, we also offer an array of mounting options, colours and edge finishes to harmonise with your interior design.

Frameless vanity mirrors

Our Frameless Vanity Mirrors offer a sleek and modern touch to any space.

Borderless design

Providing an uninterrupted and expansive reflection. This feature makes your room appear more spacious and airy, enhancing the sense of openness in your home.

Customisable options

With the ability to customise size, shape, tint and finish, these mirrors can be tailored to your exact specifications.

Easy maintenance

Fewer crevices for dust and moisture to accumulate. This makes cleaning a breeze, ensuring your mirror maintains its pristine and elegant appearance with minimal effort.

Frameless mirrored wardrobe doors

Our Frameless Mirrored Wardrobe Doors offer a sleek, contemporary look that seamlessly blends into any bedroom decor. These doors are not only stylish but also practical, adding functionality and elegance to your bedroom.

Space-enhancing design

The frameless design of these wardrobe doors creates an unobstructed, continuous mirror surface, giving the illusion of a more spacious and open room.

Dual functionality

Combining the utility of a full-length mirror with the practicality of wardrobe doors, these frameless mirror doors serve two purposes in one.

Light-reflective quality

The mirror surface of the wardrobe doors effectively reflects natural light, brightening up your room.

Mirror edge finishes

Mirror edge finishes

There are three key options when deciding how you would like the edge of your mirror to be finished. Each has a different effect and is used in different situations. Below we describe each so you can make an informed choice.

Machine flat polished edge

A flat polished edge, most commonly used on frameless custom mirrors and mirror glass tops for a smooth and pristine finish. The glass is put through an edging and polishing machine so the edge is no longer sharp.

Bevelled edge

Found on mirrors hanging on walls with or without frames. Custom mirrors with bevelled edges are cut and polished at an angle to give the look of a framed edge around the mirror, a more enhanced but subtle framed look.

Seamed or broken edge

When the mirror edges are going to be covered, such as when the mirror is framed, a seamed or broken edge is normally used to save on polishing or other processing costs.
